Sober kids BC offers free public education about teens, drugs and digital media. We provide free seminars with experts where parents and kids can learn how to navigate these issues together. Our website also offers up-to-date research and information that families can use to inform conversations in the home about teen drug use and digital media harms. About Sober Kids Canada

Sober Kids Canada is a non-profit charity. Our mission is to help Canadian youth to live drug-free and digital safe.

How do we accomplish our mission? By providing free educational seminars and courses to help families understand how to navigate the potential harms of drugs and media. It is our hope to ignite a national discussion about the challenges kids are facing today in these areas.

The world of both drugs and media have changed rapidly over the past twenty years. Drugs have become more social accepted and more toxic.

At the same time, social media has dramatically changed our understanding of what it means to be a teenager. The youth of today face very different challenges and dangers in these areas than their parents did.

Prevention, based on scientific inquiry, is a key pillar of our mission. Our education programs and website content are based on research and data from experts. The choices kids make today will determine who they are for the rest of their lives. Through the power of facts, it is our wish to help youth choose a healthy future.
